‘Calendargate’ Gone Wild: The Best Tweets From the Conservative Calendar Girl Outrage

by | Dec 27, 2023 | Opinion

When a calendar featuring women of the conservative movement dropped recently, you’d think it wouldn’t have registered more than a blip on the radar. But considering how sensitive and grifty the online right has become, the backlash was huge. The memes are hilarious and the butthurt outrageous. Here are some of the best of the best.

It all started with a simple tweet:

And then the outrage began:

Ouch! Well since we’re all just using big words that we don’t understand, one must know that Psychoneuroendocrinology is a big factor with things like this. I mean it’s all mating strategy anyway, right? But while heuristics are helpful in understanding the complex phenomenon of horny conservative men and jealous conservative women, one must consider that the latter is fighting massive Ego-Syntonic vs. Ego-Dystonic situation. In other words: jealous bitches be trippin.

Clout chasing is common in conservative circles, and men are into it just as much as the gals. Fanning the flames of outrage is profitable! Just make sure you’ve got those X account blue checks to get the real checks deposited to that account. Interactions are cash money!

Queen of the Tradcons weighed in, and was predictably not happy.

Elijah Schaffer was just pleased that the girls were actual conservative white women!

The undisputed king of all right wing grifters spent most of his Christmas holiday calling out The Red Headed Libertarian Josie over appearing in the calendar next to a cross.

Bryson was of the opinion that the calendar constituted soft core pornography which is… well it’s a take alright.

My favorite meme to emerge from the melee had to be of Josie getting burned at the stake:

Not everyone was offended, however! Some people were cheering on conservatives like Reilly Gaines for appearing in the calendar.

A competitor to the original calendar immediately emerged, and I have to say I think it’s pretty good, don’t you agree?

And another competitor:

This one really got me hot to take back our government for conservatism:

Chrissie Mayr gets to the heart of the matter. We know why so many women are upset.

I have a thing or two to say about this, but frankly it’s already been said so I’ll just let Billy say it for me and say goodbye.
