Ex-NFL Superstar Antonio Brown Continues Hilarious Social Media Push To Become Donald Trump’s Vice President

Former NFL superstar wide receiver Antonio Brown is one of the most controversial and outspoken athletes in the world, so it should come as no surprise to see his input in the world of politics.

The ex-Pittsburgh Steeler is fully endorsing Republican candidate and former president of the United States, Donald Trump. His first of many posts was an edited photo of him standing beside Trump, with the caption “Trump what we doin.” This picture was nothing compared to the chain of posts that followed.

The 45th U.S. President appears the frontrunner to be the Republican nominee after competitors such as Ron DeSantis and Nikki Haley dropped out of the race. Brown backed up his support of Trump by taking a jab at President Joe Biden. The seven-time Pro Bowl wide out replied to a post congratulating Trump on winning a golf tournament.

“Biden cant find a door 3 feet from him #CTESPN,” Brown wrote.

Perhaps the most comical of his numerous statements came when he posted a poll asking, “Who you got in the election?” The two options were Biden and Kamala Harris against Trump and Brown, which resulted in the former president and ex-NFL star receiving 91.7 percent of the 71,621 votes. While the majority of votes were most likely sent as jokes, the difference in percentages is shocking. The comments were flooded with comical replies like “kamala could never go for 284 yards in a single game.”

These notable remarks cover the surface of Brown’s comments, but a multitude go along with them, including a link to merchandise of the photoshopped photo of the two and a picture of their names, along with his slogan, “Put that [expletive] on.”

While it’s almost a sure thing that Trump will not select the controversial Brown as his running mate, he has clearly taken an interest in the world of politics.

Brown last appeared at the professional level in the 2021 season with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. However, his tenure in Tampa was short-lived, as Brown infamously took off his jersey and left the field in the middle of a game against the New York Jets. In his career, he recorded more than 12,000 receiving yards and 80 touchdowns while playing with some of the greatest quarterbacks of all-time, Tom Brady and Ben Roethlisberger.

In recent social media posts, Brown has departed from politics by returning to his usual comedy of mocking players around the NFL, including Detroit Lions’ Cam Sutton, who has a warrant issued for his arrest.
