Sharp: In Case it Wasn’t Obvious, Joe Biden Has a Major Hypocrisy Problem

by | Apr 2, 2024 | Opinion

As evidenced by last’s week’s protest outside of a glitzy Biden campaign fundraising event, Joe Biden has a hypocrisy problem on his hands.

A large group of Pro Palestinian protests demonstrated outside the event causing disruptions to the entry and exit of attendees.   These protestors voiced their anger at the Biden administration regarding continued support for the Israeli war in Gaza.  The campaign of the man who routinely states that he wants to tax wealthy Americans and call himself a friend of unions and blue-collar workers charged an astounding price to attend this event.  Per Politico, Tickets for the events started at $250. But entry into smaller, more intimate receptions went for $250,000 to $500,000. A photo with all three presidents cost $100,000. It appears that the same people Biden regularly demonizes with his words are the ones funding his campaign.

This could cause a huge problem for Biden in 2 key swing states as both Michigan and Minnesota have substantial Muslim populations who are sympathetic to the conflict in Gaza.  Biden has historically pandered to the Muslim community for votes, however that appears to now be shifting.  Even media outlets are now starting to call out this hypocrisy.

Biden went as far as to reiterate his support for Israel during his SOTU, while still calling for a 2 state solution. This is far from the first instance of hypocrisy from the Biden regime, so let’s look at a few of the others.

Many online supporters of Biden and Trump detractors love to criticize the amount of golf played by former President Donald Trump.  These same people fail to mention that Joe Biden has set a historic record for the amount of vacation time taken by a sitting president.

This has been documented extensively by the New York Times, MSNBC and other mainstream media outlets. Former President Donald Trump spent a little over a quarter of his presidency, around 380 of his 1,461 days in office on personal trips.

Trump’s time out of office earned a of media attention because he spent most of his time away, around 250 days, at properties he owned — and would therefore financially benefit from by his presence — during his presidency.

Presidents on both sides of the aisle have been taking vacations since the very beginning. For example, Abraham Lincoln would spend his summers away from the White House.

My criticism of Biden’s time away from Pennsylvania Avenue is not to justify Trump nor to say that Biden isn’t allowed to do such.  It is merely meant to point out the hypocrisy of Trump criticism.

On his first day in office, President Biden signed Executive Order 13985, Advancing Racial Equity and Support for Underserved Communities Through the Federal Government. Per the Biden regime’s own press release  “The Order recognized that, although the ideal of equal opportunity is the bedrock of American democracy, our laws, public policies, and institutions too often exacerbate disparities or deny equal opportunity to individuals and communities. The President’s Order emphasized the enormous human costs of systemic racism, persistent poverty, and other disparities, and directed the Federal Government to advance an ambitious, whole-of-government equity agenda that matches the scale of the challenges we face as a country and the opportunities we have to build a more perfect union.”

It is important to keep in mind that this EO was signed by the same man who famously questioned the heritage of anyone who did not support him.

Joe Biden’s executive order gave no solutions for the black community.  What Joe Biden’s executive order did was allow government to grow by creating additional federal agencies to evaluate racism.  Donald Trump on the other hand came to the table with solutions to improve education and improve the entrepreneurial opportunities in the black community.

In another example of Biden hypocrisy, during his campaign, Biden said, “I have this strange notion, we are a democracy…[there are things] you can’t do by executive order unless you’re a dictator. We’re a democracy. We need consensus.”

But as it turns out, Biden likes to dictate.

These numbers simply speak the truth.  Even If you have historically been a Biden supporter, numbers don’t lie.

In fact, Biden has been so dishonest that even the left wing fact checkers at Politifact have taken notice.

Biden made this statement regarding Covid-19.

While 1 million deaths are officially attributed to covid, most of those deaths, some 600,000, happened after Biden took office in January 2021 at the peak of a major wave of the disease.

It is vividly clear that Joe Biden is not the man that he portrayed to voters when he campaigned for the office of President in 2020.  Hopefully even the most liberal voters in America can realize this when they head to the 2024 polls.  Donald Trump is far from a perfect man himself.  He isn’t a friend of the 2nd amendment, and covid relief went entirely too far.  Even with Trump’s flaws it is impossible to say that Americans weren’t substantially better off under the Trump administration.

Americans deserve a President who understands American greatness and is pro-America in everything that they do.  Joe Biden seems much more focused on holding power than he does fighting for the American people.  It shouldn’t be surprising that a man who would lie to gain power would also lie to hold power.
